Holiday cottage with hot tub in Carmarthenshire

This was our second visit to the warm & welcoming hosts Margaret & Steve & their IDYLLIC cottage in the Carmarthern countryside.
It didn’t disappoint. End to end tranquillity & beautiful views of rolling countryside.
The dogs enjoyed exploring the 10 acres of well maintained land (Honey & Treacle say thank you Ellie for sharing her space).
If you want to get away from noise and busyness, and bathe yourself in nature’s beauty (and a hot tub)…this place has it all.
No need to worry about being cold in the winter either…I’ve seen Steve’s woodshed….it’s EPIC.

We’ve just had an amazing week at Hot Tub On The Hill with our 2 dogs. There’s so much land to explore. Cottage was beautiful & very spacious. Our dogs loved the stream and all the different fields to run in. Lots of places to sit and admire the glorious views. Hot tub was lovely and great to unwind after a long walk. Hosts Margaret and Steve were lovely and very welcoming. An absolutely stunning find.

We have just returned from an amazing week at Hot Tub on the Hill with our two dogs. I don’t know who loved it more, us or the dogs. They’re not impressed about coming home! We were welcomed by Steve who told us everything we needed to know, including amazing walks from the doorstep. Margaret was away but emailed with some recommendations for our stay all of which were great. The cottage is so well located with so many interesting places to visit within an hour’s drive (or even half an hour). The hot tub was a treat to come back to after days out. We loved every second and hope to revisit again. Thank you Margaret and Steve for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Nicola, Dean and the dogs xx

We were in need of a restful escape from our hectic day-to-day lives, and Hot Tub on the Hill was everything we hoped for and more. Surrounded by stunning views and complete tranquility, we were able to truly unwind and recharge before returning to reality. Our dogs were perfectly content exploring the secure, enclosed grounds, and our hosts were wonderfully welcoming—always available if we needed anything. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough, and it’s certainly a place we’ll be returning to.

We have just returned from
Hot Tub on the Hill and what can I say?
We needed somewhere to switch off and recharge after a tricky few months, but also somewhere that would accept 2 German Shepherds, 1 who’s reactive!
After a few emails back and forth with Margaret we booked and wasn’t disappointed
Our hosts were understanding and accommodating with our Kobi, sending texts when out with their own dog so we could avoid, the set up meant he didn’t even realise there was another dog on-site
In beautifully, well kept surroundings, with lots of lovely walks, the cottage was spotless and well equipped
Would definitely recommend and we will be be back!

Wow! What an absolutely amazing place Hot Tub on the Hill is!! We had such a brilliant stay, everything had been lovingly thought of in the house and Margaret and Steve are such lovely hosts. The house is perfect from its location to the amenities. The hot tub was great after a long walk on the costal path and being able to just sit and stargaze on the balcony was such a treat. Special shout out to Resident Dog Ellie who always welcomed us back with the most enthusiastic tail wag! We will 100% be back – 3 nights was not enough to enjoy all this place has to offer!

We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night break at HTOTH celebrating our Anniversary. On arrival we were met by Margaret and Steve who are superb hosts. Very welcoming, informative and on hand if you need them. The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. It was clean, comfortable, very spacious and well equipped with amazing views. The extra touches of Prosecco, chocs and Welsh cakes were very much appreciated. We were blessed with great weather and clear skies giving us beautiful sunrises and sunsets, bright stars and a harvest moon. With the peace, tranquility and much enjoyed hot tub our stay was just perfect.

Just returned home after a weeks stay at Hot tub on the hill.
Well what can I say apart from outstanding. Lovely little cottage with fantastic views at every angle. Lots of outdoor space including woodland walks so our 2 dogs 🐕 were very happy.
The cottage itself was well equipped and spotless. Steve & Margaret made us feel very welcome and were on hand if we needed anything. Thank you for a wonderful and we will certainly be back.

Myself and my husband and two dogs have just had the most wonderful 4 day break at Hot tub on the hill. We were met by Steve, who talked us through what we needed to know. A lovely bottle of fizz, fresh Welsh cakes and chocolates were there to welcome us, such a lovely touch. The cottage itself, well let’s just say the photos don’t do it justice. It’s so much bigger than you think, so spacious and absolutely immaculate. So well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Margaret and Steve are there if you need them however you have complete privacy . The hot tub itself is fabulous, and the views are outstanding, l can’t put those into words. I have already booked my next trip for May next year with my daughters. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you want complete relaxation and outstanding views and enjoy peace and tranquility, please take my word for it, it’s breathtaking. Or just a few miles up the road you have beautiful beaches and castles to explore. We all deserve that special place we like to return to. This is mine. Try it, you absolutely won’t regret it.

Wow what a find! The cottage is just lovely, equipped with everything you need. The king-size bed was soo comfy and the power shower was a real plus. Spotlessly clean and a welcome bottle of fizz 🍾 But it’s the views that take your breath away, rolling countryside from every angle. We enjoyed the hot tub and many walks from the door, as did our dog. We can’t wait to visit again, can highly recommend.

Stunning we absolutely loved it. The cottage is so spacious inside with everything you will need, the log burner is welcoming in the autumn evenings, the setting is stunning and our hosts very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We and our dogs will definitely be back.

What a find!
This was our first stay in Carmarthenshire myself, husband and our dogs feel the bar has been set extremely high.
The cottage is set in the most stunning surrounding countryside with beautiful views.
We were met by our lovely friendly hosts Steve and Margaret.. nothing was too much trouble.. and we’re on hand if we needed them but the set up was top notch and so well explained we didn’t need to trouble them at all.
In entering the cottage, we walked into a beautiful extremely clean and well equipped kitchen, the living room boasts the most breath taking views out to the valley beyond we spent many hours just admiring the views. A woodburner, massive bath and comfortable bed just added to the experience we wanted a relaxing stay, it certainly gave us that ❤
We and our dogs enjoyed the walks from the cottage and the most beautiful local beaches a short car ride away.
The piste de resistance the was the hot tub which ready for us after a long day exploring.
We booked another stay whilst staying for later this year. Steve and Margaret you should be so proud of your cottage and business it is without doubt top quality and has given us both some great memories.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. Margaret was a wonderful host and went above and beyond for us for our stay, even down to leaving us a lovely welcome gift and giving is extra time to check in and out to make the most of our weekend.
Cottage is beautiful with everything you need in a beautiful location with views to die for, hot tub also amazing to sit back in and admire the views.
We can’t wait to go back and have recommended to our family/friends too.

From the fussiest / most critical person ever; I could not find one fault with this cottage, everything was perfect.
It was unbelievably clean, smelt fresh. The decor is modern and cosy. The sofas and bed & duvet were so comfortable. The heating system was amazing, great hot power shower. Fully equipped kitchen, everything you need. Log fire with plenty of logs. Towels and blankets provided. Loads of games to play, few dvd’s and books. Learnt how to play chess.

As for the cottage, could live there it was so nice, amazing views, nothing but the noise of nature. Clear sky’s at night to see the stars while sat in the hot tub. Loved the hot tub!

Beaches, pubs and nature walks a good 25-35 mins drive away.

Met the hosts, nice down to earth couple who gave us privacy but let us know they were there if we needed them.

Amazing place! Great hosts, the accommodation was brilliant. The size of the place is really deceiving, each room is huge. I would definitely recommend a stay here the views are brilliant.
